For those of you who were at the HCA Open Meeting last week, you will know that Dr Blunt presented data relating to Harborough District. The source for much of the data was the Impact Community Carbon Calculator created by the Centre for Sustainable Energy, in conjunction with various centres of excellence in the field of sustainability.
Impact is a digital visualisation tool that helps you understand your community’s carbon footprint. It works for parishes, wards and local authority areas. So if you live in an area with a Parish Council, or a Neighbourhood Forum, you can look at specific data for that area.
It helps identify the areas where taking action to tackle climate change can make the biggest difference.
Use this button to go to the website, and find out how to create a report for your local area.
